One of my favorite things to do with fabrics is rework a pair of pants that I've trashed somehow. These jeans fit great but fell victim to dark paint from another crafting exerience.... so, rather than toss them, I created something new. I embroidered these with a neat whip stitch which creates an artsy, durable design. This is a fun project for kids who love designing their own clothes and they can use old shirts of other material they already have. I have a ton of fabric samples for them to work with at my workshops so I look forward to what funky creations we come up with!
