One of my obsessions is finding 1960's linens and fabrics such as this awesome bold print sheet by Vera Neumann, a famous artist of that time, who designed a very popular line of sheets, scarves, clothing and housewares. I loved this print! So when I painted our bedroom, I knew the colors I wanted to work around and created two paintings to hang above the side tables. The fabric sits on the end of the bed over a white duvet. Sure there are tons of new fabrics out today that look much like the originals of the 60's. I just think its great to rescue a treasure like this from a thrift store and give it new life.
