I love taking boring inexpensive t shirts and snazzing them up! This ruffle T was created by sewing and gathering a fabric tube from a cotton dress that survived the 80's. I found it once at a thrift shop and loved the fabric so I nabbed it for fifty cents or something and cut it up. Its already been used in several crafts but I liked it on my cheapo $3 Walmart special. This is one of the crafts I plan to teach at my Embellish Camp for Girls this summer. Ruffles are a great way to jazz up a simple shirt!
Here a some other examples of ruffles on boring shirts.
