Upcycled Thrift Shop Clock

Here is a fun project to do with a child who likes to take things apart and put them together again. My son is always trying to disassemble, construct or freeze things to "collect data" so he enjoyed this.  I found this clock at a thrift shop for a couple of bucks and took it apart with a screw driver. You can also use the clock parts to make a CD clock which is also very cool. I decided to use all of it and worked with some vintage sheet music to decoupage the frame and scrapbook paper for the face. You could also use photos or your child's art. These clocks are also available at Dollar General for about $4 and at IKEA for $2 but the best kind are those you have at home or in the donation bag. This would make a neat personalized gift by your child for Dad!
