Sitter Sock Puppet Kit

Kids LOVE sock puppets!

I've started a new job with College Nannies Sitters and Tutors in Tampa and I'm super excited because as a mom, crafter and teacher for the past 7 years, I have a lot to share with the sitters to help them meet the needs of our clients. I'll add some ideas here from time to time.

When you're a creative, responsible and engaging babysitter, kids love you and  want you back. You gain valuable life skills and references while helping families.

With a little bit of planning there are so many fun ways to connect with kids.  You can create a few themed boxes or bags to take along on jobs. Most of what you need can be found in the Dollar Tree and in your own closet or recycling bin. I've cut up old clothes and ripped off buttons to save for projects. If you are in school for teaching, its never too early to start collecting for your classroom. Garage sales, friends with kids, and thrift shops are great places to start.
